The purpose of this Summer Course is to provide information about the use of Indonesian biodiversity for herbal medicine regarding broad aspects of Chemistry. Submission of this information will be carried out in class, practicum and field trip to the medicinal plantations and large herbal medicine companies in Indonesia. This information starts from a comprehensive understanding of Indonesian herbal / herbal medicine, medicinal plant cultivation, extraction and standardization, the study of efficacy in vitro and in vivo, formulation and towards commercialization.
